Memo:
One of the things I liked best about this article was that it offered me suggestions on how to use Readers' Theater with younger readers such as those in kindergarten through first or second grade. I am highly motivated to use Readers' Theater in my classroom, but am concerned with how to use it if I end up teaching in one of the primary grades. This article gives me insight into how I can successfully use Readers' Theater with my students and have them be successful. The most important thing that I got from this article was to BE PERSISTENT! Children respond well to routine so keeping this strategy as a regular occurrence will enable the activity to be successful. This chart will provide me with a quick reference on the tips I can follow to be successful with Readers' Theater and my younger emergent readers.
